The PCI Express Expansion Backplane was designed to support the development and debugging of PCI Express based peripheral boards. The PCI Express Expansion Backplane allows easy plug-in access to PCI Express boards from both sides of the board, has per slot overcurrent protection and provides access to the PCI Express bus JTAG signals. By enabling access to the PCI Express bus JTAG signals the PCI Express Expansion Backplane becomes a universal device that helps support the programming/loading of FPGA/CPLD during production and testing.
